Nasarawa State Medical Mission 2026

Help us provide medicine, malaria vaccines, food and clothing for those most in need.
Dr Victor and volunteers from the Christian Medical & Dental Fellowship in Keffi will be heading to the small rural community of Yarkade in Nasarawa State.
Yarkade is a rural community of about 1,500 people, both Christians and Muslim – and our hope is that December 2026 this team of medical volunteers will be able to meet medical needs and provide basic food and clothing supplies.
How can you help?
Immunisations
We want to provide malaria immunisations to those who cannot otherwise afford them. The average price for a malaria jab (it varies daily) is around £25 per shot. Our invitation is for donations to pay for these vaccinations.
Give a more meaningful gift this Christmas
We love to exchange gifts at Christmas with family and loved ones. Could you buy your spouse or siblings a malaria jab for Christmas by donating at least £25 - and help protect those living in Yarkade from malaria; a disease that is totally preventable.
Donate Clothing
We are looking for reasonable-condition new or preloved clothing to give to those in need in Yarkade. Can your out-of-fashion items or t-shirts from that event you went to a few years ago keep someone warm and well this winter? Whether it’s a t-shirt, footwear, coats or something else, every item given will find a new home.
You can donate these to Jrapha Pharmacy, Unit 73, Enterprise Centre East Northamptonshire, Michael Way, Raunds, NN9 6GR.
Items don’t need to be bagged (though they can be). Please don’t provide used underwear.
Donate your skills
If you’re a **doctor, nurse, pharmacist, lab tech, nutritionist, counsellor, or a willing pair of hands with a teachable spirit ** then we would love to talk! The work is demanding, but the joy is even greater.
