Bringing health and hope to a remote community in divided times.
We are deeply grateful for your generosity and continued belief in the mission of LessPriv Foundation. Your recent donations made it possible for us to carry out a meaningful and impactful Easter outreach in Gwako, Northern Nigeria—bringing relief, joy, and hope to a community that truly needed it.
Because of you, families received essential supplies, children shared in moments of happiness, and a spirit of care and connection was felt throughout the village. Your kindness is not just appreciated—it is transformative.
Gwako is a community made up of Christians and Muslims, and at a time when there are some many problems in parts of Nigeria over divisions of faith, that have let to violence, this unifying provision is in itself a witness to God’s goodness.
What we did, and why it matters.
Meidcal Checks & Interventions
We provided free medical checks including blood pressure, blood sugar and provided immunisations where needed. For many of those who received this care, this is not normally an option.
Essential Clothing
Children and adults in need were provided free items of clothing, donated so generously by our supporters.
Providing Food Security
We gave out essentials food items – rice, oil and more to countless individuals as we moved around the region.
Sharing Hope
As people stayed and received treatment, care and food, we shared the Good News of Jesus, leading some to follow Him, and we had opportnity to pray with a great many, including those we could not provide specific medical or financial care for.
